Married at First Sight Australia viewers were left fuming after groom Tim made a shock admission about his marriage to Katie during Tuesday’s episode

MAFS Australia: Tim thinks he made most effort in relationship
Married at First Sight Australia fans were left gobsmacked after a groom’s jaw-dropping confession on Tuesday (March 11).
The 12th season of the love experiment is in full swing on E4, and it’s already packed with drama and bombshell revelations.
During the latest episode, the newly hitched couples gathered for their first dinner party of the series. While most pairs strolled in arm-in-arm, not all were basking in wedded bliss.
Katie and Tim, one of the less fortunate duos, turned up separately after hitting choppy waters post-nuptials. Despite seeming like a perfect match initially, Tim soon confessed he wasn’t feeling the spark with Katie, telling producers repeatedly.
A heartbroken Katie tried to salvage their relationship during their honeymoon, but Tim was having none of it. However, at the dinner party, Tim dropped a clanger, claiming he’d been “making the most effort” in their relationship.

A stunned Katie responded: “Hearing that, I was like, ‘What the hell? That does not make sense.’ He’s the one who’s pushed me away from day one, he’s the one that’s rejected me,”
Tim went on to say: “I was here to get to know you and when you don’t feel that you get that back, it’s devastating,” before accusing Katie of “betraying” his trust by not defending him in front of the group, reports OK!.
MAFS fans were absolutely gobsmacked by Tim’s behaviour, and they didn’t waste a second posting their outrage all over X. “That Tim is absolutely unbelievable,” vented one fan, as another was fuming: “Get Tim off my screen, I’m getting mad.”
A third chimed in, saying, “Tim has zero respect for Katie. He has zero interest of how his behaviour affects her. I’m done.” And then there was someone who was practically yelling at the telly: “What the hell is going on. Who else is screaming at their TV,” with another heartbroken viewer sharing, “This is heartbreaking to watch.”
Looks like Jamie, another bride from the show, felt the same fury as the viewers—she didn’t hold back at the dinner party.
“I know what’s going on, I can see what’s going on, I’m not stupid. It’s just a gaslighting move, like what is this?” she ranted. Jamie also got personal, sharing her own brush with belittlement: “I know what it’s like to be in that position. I know what it’s like for someone to make you feel less than, dim your shine, make you question yourself, blame yourself – that is not ok.”
The audience lapped up Jamie’s gutsy words, with fans going: “Jamie has become one of the best ones in the entire experiment for being the only one to speak up for Katie and speak the truth.”
Others wanted a mate like her: “Everyone needs a friend like Jamie in their corner! !” and “I’d want Jamie from #MAFSAU on my team any day of the week!”.
