I’m A Celebrity co-stars Danny Jones and Maura Higgins were seen to apparently share a kiss at a BRIT Awards afterparty.
Danny Jones, 38, known for being a member of the band McFly, and 34-year-old Maura Higgins, a contestant from Love Island, seemed to maintain their jungle camaraderie as they both attended the BRIT Awards at the O2 Arena in London.
After the event, the two were spotted leaving the afterparty together.
They were among several celebrities at the afterparty, including Sam Thompson, Pete Wicks, Olivia Attwood, Calum Scott, and Oti Mabuse. Danny originally attended the ceremony with fellow McFly member Tom Fletcher but later appeared solo at the afterparty, making him the only representative from his band there.
The night took a surprising turn when reports emerged claiming that Danny, who has been married to Georgia Horsley since 2014, shared what was described as a “drunken kiss” with Maura at Universal Music’s afterparty, held at 180 Studios on the Strand.
The Sun published footage that appeared to capture the pair’s heads together and quoted a source who observed that the pair “seemed to be having a great time,” adding, “They looked like they had a brief drunken kiss.”
Insiders have revealed that Danny Miller and Maura Higgins “seem to have a close friendship” after they hit it off on ITV’s I’m A Celebrity last year, and Danny won. The pair were reportedly “talking and laughing for ages” at an event, spending a good 90 minutes together while other guests continued to party.
According to a publication source, Danny seemed to advise Maura, even putting his arm around her shoulder at one point. At the same time, she rested her head on his shoulder as they chatted with friends.
Rumours are swirling after Danny and Maura were allegedly spotted sharing a kiss in the early hours of this morning. They were seen entering the venue’s foyer together around 3 am, where the supposed romantic moment was caught on camera.
The duo, still beaming, was then photographed leaving the event with their former co-star, Oti. Laughter continued at Sony Music’s afterparty at Nobu Hotel, where they arrived an hour later. Sources said they were “still grinning” and enjoying each other’s company.
Danny has been happily married to Georgia since 2014. The couple has a seven-year-old son named Cooper. Meanwhile, Maura was linked to Pete Wicks until recent reports suggested they’ve split. Maura and Pete reportedly avoided each other on the BRIT Awards red carpet.

Danny and Georgia have enjoyed wedded bliss since their spectacular 2014 nuptials in North Yorkshire, following a romantic courtship in 2010. Danny’s heartfelt admittance marked the fairytale event: “When I saw Georgia, I couldn’t take it. My legs shook. It was the most amazing view I’ve ever seen.”
Their family joy was doubled with the arrival of son Cooper in January 2018. While conquering the I’m A Celebrity jungle last year, Danny could rely on his family as his pillar of strength, with Georgia and Cooper supporting him from the sidelines.
Reflecting on her husband’s stint in the jungle, Georgia shared: “Danny was really adamant that he wanted to make Cooper proud and show him that even if you’re frightened, you can still be brave.”
Georgia also revealed intimate details about family life, noting, “Cooper knows that Danny is scared of a lot of things, he hates creepy crawlies and eating challenges and things like that. I’m the one who does any type of rescuing in the house, if there’s a spider, it’s my job! He’s doing it all with a smile in the jungle … Cooper has watched it occasionally on the night, but usually it’s the next morning. He is absolutely loving it, but he is starting to miss his daddy.”
