You’ve got 20/20 vision if you can spot the lizard hiding in plain sight – without zooming

These spot the object brainteasers can be surprisingly difficult, but this one is on another “scale”. The tricky task was uploaded by Reddit user ExoticZaOnly to the r/FindTheSniper group, where users post snaps of objects hidden in an image and challenge others to find them.

The user callenged the groups’ 687k followers to “Find the Lizard” lurking somewhere in a photo full of plants, with myriad hiding places for the tiny critter.

Finding the reptile proved a real challenge for many users, with one admitting, “It should not have taken me that long”, before they finally found it.

Reckon you can do better? To make the task even harder, set a timer for 11 seconds and try to track the creature down without enlarging the image.

Scroll down when you’re ready and see how sharp your senses are.

The brainteaser was uploaded as an “easy” challenge. But one commenter wasn’t so sure.

“Easy?!? I’m a lifelong reptile enthusiast, and this one kicked my butt,” they said. But keen-eyed Redditors eventually started to see the lizard laying low under a leaf.

If you zoom in you should be able to see it just to the right of the very centre of the image, sprawled out with its head curled to the right.

Many commenters said it was a particularly bedevilling task, and the uploader was even asked to provide a hint, so don’t be disappointed if it outfoxed you.

If you want to sharpen up your senses with another challenge, we’ve got an array of flummoxing puzzles and games to test your grey matter.
