We previously reported on Xiaomi’s update which will finally bring Android 15 to its users.
However, the rollout came with an older software version, HyperOS 1.1, rather than the much-anticipated HyperOS 2, which was still exclusive to the Chinese market at the time.
The good news is that Xiaomi has finally begun rolling out the HyperOS 2 to the global version of the Xiaomi 14 series (via GSMArena).
The update package sized at 6.3GB and identified by version number OS2.0.4.0.VNCMIXM should now be available to all international users of the standard flagship model.

As previously reported by STechGuide, Xiaomi 14 users outside of China started receiving the stable Android 15 update a month ago.
It included a series of fixes and improvements, such as better layout handling on the Home screen, a smoother Recents menu, and adjustments to the Always-on Display on the Lock screen.
But now users will be able to enjoy the full offering of HyperOS 2, which brings three major innovations: HyperCore, HyperConnect, and HyperAI, to deliver faster performance, smarter functionality, and seamless integration within Xiaomi’s ecosystem.
How these innovations will work in practice, however, remains to be seen.

The update should now be available for the Xiaomi 14, and a November rollout was also scheduled for the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4, Xiaomi 14T series, and Xiaomi Pad 6S Pro 12.4.
This month, the update will expand to devices such as the Xiaomi 13 series, Xiaomi Mix Fold 3, Xiaomi 13T series, and other models, with more devices to be updated in the first half of 2025.
