WhatsApp might be preparing to extend its highly anticipated multi-account support to iPhones, a feature that has been available on Android phones since October 2023.
If true, iPhone users will earn the ability to use two different WhatsApp accounts on the same device without the need for workarounds like app cloning or the WhatsApp Business app.
The feature was discovered by WABetaInfo in version 25.2.10.70 of WhatsApp’s iOS beta app. However, it’s not yet accessible to beta testers, indicating that further refinements are needed before a public rollout.

The multi-account feature aims to simplify account management by enabling users to log in with different numbers through a single app. Users will have two options when adding a second account: starting fresh with a new setup or linking an existing account via a QR code.
This is particularly beneficial for users juggling personal and professional numbers or those with dual SIM phones.
The exact release date for this feature remains unknown, but the beta testing phase signifies progress toward making it available to all iPhone users in the coming months.
If you use an iPad instead, we also have good news for you too – WhatsApp is finally coming to the iPad.
