In October, you’ll be able to pick from many horror games or sit down with two new massive RPGs. It’s a big month, so strap in!
Two remakes, Until Dawn and Silent Hill 2, look like they’ll appease new and old horror games. Plus, there are some new games, from the throwback Fear the Spotlight to the expansion of Alan Wake 2 with the release of its final expansion, The Lake House.
If you’re looking to pick up only one game to keep you busy for some time, there’s bound to be a hundred hours on each of Metaphor: ReFantazio and Dragon Age: The Veilguard. On the other side, away from the fantasy RPGs, you could also pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 this month to keep your buys for the next year in multiplayer matches.
A final interesting release worth keeping your eyes on this month is Batman: Arkham Shadow. Can a VR exclusive Batman game set in the Arkham-verse move Meta Quest headsets?
