Vanessa Bryant has shared a video of her youngest daughter taking her very first steps.
On Sunday, the 37-year-old posted a short clip on Instagram alongside the caption: “My baby!!!! So proud of my Koko Bean.
“Capri took her first steps from her auntie Sophie to mama today.”
In the video, 11-month-old Capri can be seen walking cautiously towards her mother while holding a toy, before she Vanessa hugs her and kisses her on the cheek.
“I’m so proud of you!” Vanessa exclaims in the video, which has been viewed more than four million times. “I knew you were gonna do it! [sic]”
The post comes four months after Vanessa’s husband, NBA legend Kobe Bryant, and 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, tragically died in a helicopter crash on 26 January in Calabasas, California.
The couple also have two other daughters, 17-year-old Natalia and three-year-old Bianka.
Last year, Kobe announced the birth of Capri, who was born on 20 June 2019, on social media with a photo of the newborn swaddled in a pink blanket.
“Our little princess Capri Kobe Bryant ‘KoKo’ 6/20/19,” he wrote in the caption.
Earlier this month, Vanessa shared a more up-to-date photo of Capri wearing a pink dress and commented on just how much she looks like her late father.
“Capri looks just her daddy (in Gigi’s outfit)!” she wrote in the caption.
Vanessa regularly posts tributes to Kobe and Gianna on Instagram. Most recently, she celebrated what would have been her daughter’s 14th birthday with a photo of Gianna smiling while wearing a Mickey Mouse T-shirt and matching leggings.
“I miss you so much everyday. I wish I could wake up and have you here with me,” Vanessa wrote in the caption. “I miss your smile, your hugs and your giggles. I miss EVERYTHING about YOU, Gigi. I LOVE YOU so much!!!!!!!”
Kobe and Gianna were among nine victims who died in the crash.
The incident also claimed the lives of baseball coach John Altobelli, 56, his wife Keri and daughter Alyssa.
