This Is a Man’s World! Or Is It?

There are many successful Forex traders who made it to the top. But most of those we know about are men, right? However, there are certainly some female traders you need to know about in 2020.

Pretty much all more or less professional traders know that it is crucial to know how to control emotions and stay calm regardless of losses and hardships that might arise. And as there is a common belief that on average women tend to possess and to save by nature (not to be sexist thought!), it would have been logical to assume that they might be even better at Forex trading. That was also supported by the research conducted by Time magazine, which showed that men tend to take up more risks while trading then women. Turns out that men on average trade more often than women as well – 45% more frequently, to be precise. What is more, based on the research conducted by behavioral economists Terrence Odean and Brad Barber, it was stated that the net returns of men were reduced by 2.65% after trading on Forex a year. Meanwhile, the rate was 1.72% for women.

Moving further, it was found in 2018 that 1 out of every 7 Forex traders is a woman. That rate increased significantly in just a year, as in 2017 when only 1 in 10 traders was female. We may now summarize that Forex trading is becoming more and more common among women. There are now many female Forex traders who are doing great in the trading and investment world. That is why we thought it would be a good idea to look at them and maybe take an example from their success stories, which, believe us, are sometimes mind-blowing.
