NOW that we approach the cooler season, some people may be realising that their washing is taking longer to dry than usual.

And due to the cost of living you may be holding off from putting the heating on for a bit longer.

But trying to be cost effective whilst staying on top of your washing load, may feel a bit impossible when it can take days to dry. 

Luckily there are some hacks that can help people to get around drying their clothes.

And one mum has discovered just the trick.

Beth, who is a mum, regularly shares cleaning tips and tricks that she has discovered herself whilst running her own household.

She revealed that there is a button on the washing machine that many will often miss when it comes to doing their load.

Beth claims that if you put your clothes on an extra spin, they will come out less wet and will dry quicker.

She shared a video to her TikTok page, and captioned it: “Drying clothes hack.” 

Many people have viewed the video, with some commenting on it too. 

One wrote: “Queen of the winter hacks here aren’t you.” 

Another added: “I’ll definitely try this!”

In another video, she also revealed that using a heated airer also helps to speed up the drying process.

Beth also suggested getting clothing racks which can hang from the side of the banister so there is extra drying space.

She also recommended opening the windows so moisture can leave the air. 

Many other cleaning fans often comment on her videos with other suggestions too. 

A couple have also recommended having a dehumidifier whilst the clothes are hanging up.
