The School of Sound is back in 2019, once again exploring the creative use of sound in media and the arts. This 13th School of Sound will be taking place across four days and should attract around 300 people from around the world.

There are no games sessions this year unfortunately but the programme is designed for anyone working with or interested in sound. Any sound designer – working in any form of media, interactive media or the arts – should find the presentations relevant to their work.

All the speakers address ideas about applying sound to image, sound spatialisation, storytelling through sound, relationships between sound and music, and film sound design. The audience includes professional practitioners, artists and students from around the world.
