Tesco discontinues popular £1.95 breakfast staple in ALL stores as shopper despairs ‘I’ve been looking for WEEKS’

TESCO has discontinued a popular £1.95 breakfast staple in all of its stores.

One shopper in despair took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to question the disappearance of their much-loved cereal.

The products in question are Tesco’s Apricot Wheats and the branded version from Kellogg’s, which are both small wholegrain wheat squares with a fruit-flavoured filling.

The shopper put the question to Tesco, explaining the cereals were missing from their local store.

They said: “For several weeks now you’ve had the other varieties but no Apricot wheats.

“First you took away the Honey Monster Puffs, and now this. This is at the Baldock superstore.”

Tesco then confirmed the cereal has indeed been discontinued.

A spokesperson said: “Hi there, the tesco apricot wheats cereal has been discontinued and is no longer ranged in any of our stores.

“I am so sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. Thanks, Amena – Customer Care.”

The shopper continued to clarify where exactly the Kellogg version is as Sainsbury’s still stocks them.

However, Tesco recommended they message the store privately and assured they would check in-store availability.

Kellogg’s is known for a range of cereal brands including Corn Flakes, Coco Pops, Frosties and Crunchy Nut.

However, the Kellogg’s Apricot version of the breakfast product is not currently available on the supermarket’s website.

But it is available online at Sainsbury’s, Asda and Ocado with prices ranging from £1.95 to £2.45 for the 500g box.
