Relationship

Tell us: how do you and your partner divide household chores?

While attitudes towards careers and childcare have become increasingly progressive, there remains a lag when it comes to the drudgery of housework and life administration.

In the 18 years that the Australian Bureau of Statistics has been tracking the distribution of unpaid household labour, women have out-chored men in every single census.

Whether it’s a good old-fashioned chart on the fridge, the silent treatment or a simple 50/50 split, we want to hear what works (and what doesn’t) for you and your partner as you divide the responsibilities of adult life. Tips and tricks for success as well as tactics to avoid are welcome.
