It’s not uncommon for keen DIYer Stacey Solomon to share private aspects of her daily life with her six million Instagram followers. However, today, she seemingly hadn’t realised until she clicked the ‘publish’ button just how much of a wardrobe mishap she’d made.
The Sort Your Life Out star was left blushing after bending over to sweep the garden caused her tiny turquoise blue shorts to ride up and expose her pants underneath. She and her adorable mini-me daughter Rose – who is also the spitting image of dad Joe Swash from some angles and already has an impressive mane of curly blonde hair – had been hand-feeding the ducklings, filling up the dogs’ bowls and doing everyday “morning duties” when the mishap took place.
Returning to Instagram over an hour later, she confessed: “I’m sorry about my granny pants this morning. I didn’t even realise – I just love them so much!” Stacey was in stitches as she continued: “I just think they’re the most comfortable underwear and I wear them all the time – and sometimes they just so happen to be longer than my shorts!”
Just a week into summer, she was already dressed for the searing heat. Meanwhile, little Rose was playing matchy-matchy with her mum in a matching hue of turquoise blue, the only difference being that she wore trousers instead of shorts.
That’s a choice that blushing Stacey might have wished she’d made after realising she’d flashed her beige lingerie to six million people. However, earlier in the week, a drama had ensued for the opposite reason: it wasn’t how much she showed, but rather how much she hadn’t shown.
Although ex-EastEnders star Joe Swash was already a celebrity when the pair met and is known to love the limelight, that isn’t the case for some of Zachary’s relations, who is her son from a previous relationship
However, a curious Instagrammer quizzed: “Why put photos up that you then blur out the faces ??? NO HATE!!! just wondering.” (sic)
Someone else replied: “Probably to show his dad was there but to respect his privacy.” (sic)
Another follower agreed: “Basic respect! They don’t want to be in the spotlight.”
A fourth chimed in: “Remember, she has the originals that are not blurred, but wanted to show they all love the lad, we don’t need to see the faces. He obviously has two wonderful parents along with two wonderful step-parents who love and support him.”
