ANY parent knows taking care of a child on a plane can be difficult.
Especially if the flight is long, you often have to worry about keeping your child entertained for several restricting hours.
Not to mention it’s a massive disruption to their normal routine.
But when a child disrupts a flight how responsible is the parent for their behaviour?
One traveller has started a debate after sharing the activities the neighbouring passenger got up to on a flight.
Viewers were horrified by the sight of a young child vandalising the plane.
Taking to the TikTok account @TravelTMZ the traveller shared a clip of the shocking sight.
They said: “Pov: the passenger next to you has turned the plane into their personal colouring book.”
The boy next to the traveller was colouring with a crayola pen directly on to the panels underneath the plane window.
It was clear this had been going on for a while as the boy had used several colours on his ‘artwork’.
He had also used the back of the plane tray table as his personal canvas as well.
The parents of the child are not seen in the clip and made no signs of intervening.

Many TikTok users were pointing the finger at the child’s parents.
One user said: “Parents should be fined.”
Another said: “Why was it allowed to happen that long? I would have immediately called the attendant.”
“What were the parents doing, just saying oh so pretty?” asked another.
Other TikTok users defended the unseen parents claiming the pen must be easily removed.
One user said: “I’m sure they are erasable markers!!!!”

“Alcohol wipes will take it right off. I’m pretty sure,” said another.
A third user said: “Love this.”
