We’re looking for an individual who can raise the bar and bring outstanding engineering skills to the team.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Extensive Experience: 10+ years in software development, with a focus on game and simulation design. A strong track record in game architecture, particularly in Unity and C#.
- Proven Success: Experience shipping at least three AA titles across different genres or two AAA titles from start to finish, using any game engine.
- Scalable System Design: Expertise in designing and developing scalable game systems and frameworks for long-term use.
- 2D Game Development: Solid experience in creating 2D games is crucial.
- Rendering & Optimization: In-depth knowledge of rendering pipelines and optimization practices.
- Leadership Skills: Experience in leading and mentoring development teams, conducting code reviews, and setting coding standards.
- Tool Development: Experience in building in-house editor tools to support the game development process.
- Cross-Platform Expertise: Experience developing for multiple platforms, including Android, iOS, web, and PC.
- Testing: Strong skills in writing both unit and framework tests.
- Multiplayer Frameworks: Familiarity with multiplayer frameworks such as socket.io, web-sockets, and similar systems in a production environment.
- Self-Published Content: Experience publishing games or assets on the Unity Asset Store is a bonus.
- Problem Solving: Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and debugging abilities.
- Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative working style.
