Savvy mum reveals her VERY elaborate colour-coded organisation system to make every day run smoothly

ONE mum has come with a simple yet effective way to organise her kids – colour coordinating.

Parenting can be hard even at the best of times, so one mum decided to streamline things in the simplest way possible.

Sharing photos of her enviable system, the mum revealed she stores things according to colour, and even has a colour-coded a clock so her kids knew exactly what they should be doing when.

The clock is divided into segments such as ‘homework’, ‘playtime’, ‘dinner’ and ‘bathtime’ – all with their corresponding colours.

In a series of snaps post on Instagram, she reveals her neat home has colour-coded storage for the kids’ games, calling her organisation efforts the ‘command centre’.

There are green and pink boxes for TV, Play-Doh, their Nintendo, Wii and Switch.

The clever mum, thought to be German, even has individual calendars for her kids, where they’re able to stick post-it notes for upcoming events.

The green-and-pink colour scheme also extends to clothing, with boxes neatly lined up with a photo of hats, scarves, belts and ballet gear so kids know exactly what’s inside.

Drawers are organised with labels so the kids know where to find everything from their trousers to their socks, which are stored in pairs or neatly folded.

The little girl’s headbands are all hung up inside a cupboard door, and the filing system even extends to toys.

Barbie dolls are neatly packed away in labelled boxes – as are their wardrobes – while the popular LOL dolls are all neatly stored in their own compartments, along with their accessories.

Commenting on her efforts, one person said: “I think it’s great. But does that stay so neat?”

Another simply said “brilliant”, while a third wrote: “A fabulous idea.”
