LET’S be honest – us parents often use Santa’s Naughty and Nice list as a convincing reason to keep our kids in check around the festive season.
But while we’d never considered the idea too seriously before, a new study has revealed that your child’s name could determine whether they end up on the wrong side of the North Pole – and it’s especially bad news for any little Alexandras and Logans out there.
For the 11th year in a row, School Stickers have revealed their Top Ten Naughty and Nice Names list based on the number of rewards given out in schools.
In the past year, 27,000 pupils received over 467,000 rewards and analysis of these personalised stickers revealed the UK’s nicest children – and the “naughtiest” who were awarded the least.
What’s more, the names Sophie and Daniel are especially “nice” and featured in the top ten six years out of 11 – closely followed by the monikers Emily, Grace, Jessica, Benjamin, Harry, Jack, James, Oliver and Thomas.
That said, Alexandras, Esthers, Logans and Harrisons might need to prepare themselves for a lump of coal in their stockings on Christmas morning based on their overall lack of school rewards.

Meanwhile, Eleanor has been in the ‘naughty’ list four times, and Holly and Olivia, have featured three.
Neil Hodges, Managing Director, School Stickers, said: “Our much-loved ‘naughty and nice’ list has become a Christmas tradition.
“It’s obviously just a bit of festive fun, but people do seem to like to see each year whether their name has made the list!”

He continues: “We’ve really enjoyed looking back through the previous lists, and can’t believe that the names Sophie and Daniel have made the top 10 six times!
“We always say that the lists aren’t to be taken seriously as all schools reward their pupils in different ways, with some giving out hundreds, and some thousands of rewards.
” However, it does seem that you have a strong chance of a well-behaved child if you have a Sophie or a Daniel…”

And you can now buy singing Baby Shark cuddly toys for your kids this Christmas – if you can bear the racket.
