Roman Reigns shook the entire foundations of the wrestling world as he made a triumphant return at WWE SummerSlam.

The Original Tribal Chief hasn’t been seen since losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40 in April, but he helped the American Nightmare on Saturday night.

For months, Solo Sikoa has placed himself at the head of the table as the new leader of The Bloodline, earning himself a shot at Cody and the world title.

However, after a chaotic match which saw Jacob Fatu, Tama Tonga, Tonga Lao, Kevin Owens and Randy Orton all get involved, it was Roman that made a difference.

It looked like Solo might get the job done, but the former champion’s music hit as he walked to the ring and took out his cousin with a Superman Punch and Spear.

With a look in Cody’s direction, Roman left the ring and stared back as he capitalised with a CrossRhodes for the win.

It was a massively dramatic show from the get go, with Rhea Ripley losing her chance at the Women’s World Championship in the opening match.

It was her Judgment Day beau Dominik Mysterio who cost her, helping Liv Morgan score the win before they locked lips as he turned his back on Mami.

Over the next couple of hours, fans were treated to four title changes with new champions crowned, starting with Bron Breakker as his dad Rick Steiner and uncle Scott Steiner watched on.

He felled Sami Zayn with a pair of huge spears, while Logan Paul made it back-to-back championship losses in his defence against LA Knight.

Despite Machine Gun Kelly’s best efforts, the Megastar was able to win the United States Title, while Logan’s immediate future is unclear.

Drew McIntyre capitalised on CM Punk being distracted by Seth Rollins to score a big victory in their grudge match, while Seth and Punk will likely battle as the months rumble on.

GUNTHER continued his ascent by capturing the World Heavyweight Championship from Damian Priest, but it came after Finn Balor betrayed his friend as the Judgment Day has been left in tatters.
