The Real Housewives’s Porsha Williams’ estranged husband has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement and the telly star has some choice words on the matter
The Real Housewives star Porsha Williams’ estranged husband has been detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement – adding to a tough week for the US Housewives.
The news comes as the pair have been embroiled in a bitter divorce – with the telly star calling the situation “disheartening.”
According to TMZ, her ex Simon Guobadia, a Nigerian philanthropist, is being held at Stewart Detention Center in Lumpkin, Georgia, per U.S. Department of Homeland Security records.
Porsha has since addressed the situation on Instagram with a statement that read: “It’s disheartening to see my estranged husband make choices that have led to this outcome. At this moment my priority is moving forward with my family.”
The pair got hitched back in 2022 in a traditional Nigerian and tied the knot again in an US ceremony shortly after. However, trouble erupted in paradise between the pair as Porsha decided to file for divorce in February 2024.
Since then they have been caught up in a public slinging match with Porsha sharing an erectile dysfunction social media post last year, which led her ex to sue her.
He has claimed the Bravo TV star has made “false and defamatory” comments about his genitalia, including implying that they do not work. Simon recently filed a motion enforce that the couple would attend their upcoming divorce hearing in-person, despite the court allowing for virtual attendance on February 26.
Though it may suggest that things have backfired for him due to his current incarceration.
