People convinced there is 'time traveller' at Elvis concert after spotting strange item

While some people believe in time travel, others remain sceptical. But a video from an Elvis Presley concert has made viewers guess whether it’s possible after catching a ‘modern person’ in the crowd.

TikTok user Slapped Ham has shared a 44-second clip from one of his iconic performances. They asked users to focus in on a woman in the crowd who appears to be recording the event on a smartphone.

When freeze-framing the video, viewers can see a woman holding up a small, dark, rectangle object with a white square in the top left corner. The video says: “Did you spot it? It looks like one of the audience members is holding a mobile phone.

“This strange sighting has led many to speculate that the audience member could be a time traveller.” However, this isn’t the only unusual sighting in this clip, as others have spotted a “demonic” figure walking past the camera soon after the ‘phone’ was shown.

A viewer commented: “Nobody noticed the demonic empty-eyed figure that flashes after the image of the camera.” Another user added: “Everyone look closer when it shows the ‘phone’ a second time there’s this weird person who walks by after the ‘phone’ is put down.”

Unconvinced, some viewers claim it’s simply a “notebook and pen” with the audience member likely hoping to secure Elvis’s autograph. One user said: “Stephen Hawking has already proved that travelling back in time is impossible.”

Another user added: “It’s a backstage pass. She’s trying to get through.” A third user said: “Whiskey flask and the lid fell off. She started to pick it up.” One more user said: “It’s a recording machine, not a phone.” Another user said: “It’s a Kodak pocket instamatic camera, for Christ sake.”

Throughout his career, Elvis performed 1,684 shows, with 767 in Nevada showrooms, either in Las Vegas or Stateline. His death in August 1977 shocked the world – as fans came together to mourn the loss of the King of Rock and Roll.

Some fans believe Elvis knew his days were numbered, and was trying to send ‘messages’ through his song choices on stage. A video from GrungeHQ claims: “What confused some people [at his final concert], though, was that Elvis took a portion of the show to introduce everyone from his life and from the stage.

“The moment came toward the end of the night just before his closing performance of Can’t Help Falling In Love With You. Many would later wonder if this was because Elvis knew somewhere deep down that he would never play again and wanted to shout out all of those who had made his career possible.

“Equally cryptic for some were the parting words the King said as he left the stage. ‘We’ll meet you again. May God bless you. Adios’.” However, not everyone believes these claims, saying Elvis always introduced those on stage with him to the audience.

Between 1974 and 1976, he performed almost 400 concerts but by his final months, he looked a shadow of himself, suffering from liver damage, glaucoma, an enlarged colon, and high blood pressure.

He died at his Graceland estate at the age of 42. It has been reported years of prescription drug abuse and unhealthy eating habits severely compromised his health, leading to his girlfriend Ginger Alden discovering him dead on the bathroom floor.
