MONEY-SAVING parents are going totally wild over a bargain baby wipes deal at ASDA.
Being a parent to a tot comes with many costs – and we all know just how quickly you can get through a packet of wipes.
Given the prices have recently skyrocketed, it’s no surprise that shoppers are now scrambling to their nearest ADSA where they can bag packs of wipes for spare change.
If you missed out on the bargain offer at Morrisons earlier this week, rival ASDA offer a similar deal, where money-smart shoppers can the baby essential for 25p.
According to one anonymous customer, who took to Facebook to inform others about the deal, ASDA’S very own Little Angels Baby Wipes in yellow packaging came to £1 for a pack of four.
A little maths and calculating and you’ll realise this works out to be a mere 25p per pack – a total steal you shouldn’t sleep on.
Advising others to not miss the deal, the parent wrote in their post: ”The Huggies wipes weren’t coming up at £2 for a box but these packs of four in Asda were still scanning at £1.
”So 40 packs of wipes for £10 here!”
After sharing the delightful news to fellow parents on the platform, the shopper added: ”We use these on the kids hands and faces. No reactions here!
”Don’t find them dry but stick them in a zip lock bag and they’re great.
”Bit thin but for 25p a pack they’re great!
”Not paying £2 per pack of water wipes!”
Although the parent must-have has indeed been described as ”thin” by many, there have also been plenty of positive reviews online, with customers praising the formula.
”Great wipes. Good formula, very gentle and great value,” wrote one ASDA fan on their website.
Another chimed in: ”Nice smell and feel soft, super product, recommend.”
Someone else added in the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, writing: ”We have no issues with these. A little thinner yes but fine to change a dirty nappy.
”I have been stocking up for weeks now!”
However, there were also a few of those who warned others to not waste their money and find a better alternative.
For example, one mum said: ”These wipes are really not that great, they are all stuck together in the pack and are really thin.”
Another agreed, adding: ”I got a few and my son reacts to them so just use them for his high chair wipe down and hands.”
”It’s the smell for me,” warned a fellow member of the page, adding a puking emoji.
