Parents are fuming over a man’s brazen protest aimed directly at children outside Hamleys toy store.
A demonstrator was seen outside the iconic toy shop on Regent Street in London on August 13, blatantly displaying an electronic tablet with ‘kids are horrible’ written across it. Armed with a megaphone, he declared: “They’re waste of money and a waste of energy.”
Passersby were visibly shocked as they witnessed the scene, and the man went viral online for all the wrong reasons. The incident was captured and shared on X (formerly known as Twitter) by Emil Franchi using the handle @emil_franchi, who posted: “Just a man outside Hamleys toys protesting kids being horrible.”
The clip caused a stir online, amassing over 790,000 views as people flocked to express their views. A commenter remarked: “I’ve seen this guy around quite a bit.”
Evidently, this isn’t the first spectacle created by the man with a megaphone in Londonsocial media contributors identified him “London’s most famous megaphone man”.
Previously, he made a statement holding a sign that read ‘the vagina is a trap’ while donning a T-shirt emblazoned with ‘beware of the sexy ladies, they are up to something’. A woman revealed on X he has been allegedly preaching outside King’s Cross Station lately.
Others chimed in with sightings: “Omg I saw him at Chinatown doing the same last weekend.” There was also mention of similar antics in Manchester.
