Olly Murs has said how ‘gutted’ he is to a cancel live show after suffering health issues.

The Heart Skips a Beat singer, 40, was due to perform in Dubai on Friday, but had to cancel just hours before.

The X Factor star revealed he was suffering from a throat infection, but vowed he’d be back.

‘To everyone here in Dubai, unfortunately due to doctor’s orders I am having to cancel tonight’s show at Bla-Bla because of a throat infection,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘I’m so gutted. I look forward to coming back ASAP and will share new date information as soon as I can! Olly x.’

He later shared another image of what appeared to be taken inside a plane, looking downcast as he wrote: ‘A man with a broken voice.

Olly, who became a dad for the first time last year, was also unexpectedly forced to cancel a performance in Glasgow in May 2024, just minutes before doors were meant to open.

The Dear Diary singer faced chaos due to unforeseen transport complications when he was meant to be opening for Take That in front of a 14,000-strong crowd.

Instead, he was replaced by aspiring musician Daniel Rooney, who was plucked from a nearby hotel bar just moments before the show was meant to begin.

Gary Barlow thanked Daniel for ‘saving the day’ while Olly later reassured fans he was ‘back for good’ with Take That for the remaining shows after enduring a six-hour car journey when his flights were cancelled.
