KNOWN for her leading roles in hit movies, this actress wasn’t leading the red carpet earlier this week – instead, her son was.
The nepo-baby could be seen towering over his famous mum on the red carpet of the Golden Globes – but can you guess who his A-list parent is?
The 23-year-old is much taller than his 62-year-old mum, who stars in the likes of Silence of the Lambs and Panic Room.
That’s right, it’s Jodie Foster and her son Kit.
Posing on the red carpet at the Golden Globe Awards at The Beverly Hilton on January 5, 2025, the mother and son duo looked content to be in each other’s company as they smiled for the many cameras at the event.
With her hair bobbed and framing her face, Jodie was seen posing with her hands in the pockets of the black sleeveless shift dress she was wearing.

Smiling sweetly for the camera, Jodie looked radiant as she beamed and flashed her pearly whites.
Jodie’s son Kit was also beaming widely as he posed beside his mother, with the young man wearing a smart suit.
Kit wore a smart black suit and bowtie, with the youngster also rocking some glasses.
After posing with her son at the star-studded event, Jodie and Kit headed inside before she picked up the coveted gong for Best Female Actor in a Limited Series for her part in True Detective: Night Country.
Speaking on the red carpet about the gifts her two sons have given her over the years, Jodie gushed: “Joy and play. That was the first gift that they gave me.”
She then recalled: “Being on all fours around the house and making parades with silly musical instruments and rediscovering the world through their eyes, and I feel like that continues to today.”
DOTING MOTHER AND MODERN FAMILY
Jodie Foster and her ex-girlfriend, Cydney Bernard, share two kids: Charlie and Kit.
The Silence of the Lambs star first became a mother on July 20, 1998, when she gave birth to her first son, Charles Bernard Foster.
Then on September 29, 2001, Jodie gave birth to her second son, Christopher Bernard Foster, who is nicknamed Kit.
Speaking at the 2013 Golden Globes, Jodie gushed: “I am so proud of our modern family. Our amazing sons, Charlie and Kit, who are my reason to breathe and to evolve.”
In 2016, Jodie spoke about Kit and how he is “the nicest person” that she has ever met.
SHY AND SENSITIVE BOY
“My little one is just the nicest person I’ve ever met,” she told People Magazine at the time.
Meanwhile, in another interview with Magic Radio she said “he’s a little sensitive” before noting how she waited “many, many years” for him to watch her in The Silence of the Lambs.
And speaking to The Guardian in 2018, she said: “My younger son is really shy and I can promise you he will never be an actor.”
