In the clip, the mum explained that she decided to put them in the bath after her tot accidentally spilled her coffee all over her blocks.

The mum decided it would be easiest to chuck them in the bath with some soap to get the coffee off – but she was horrified by the results.

She wrote: “POV your toddler spills an entire cup of coffee into their Megablocks bin and now you’re stirring them around in your bathtub realising how dirty they actually are.”

The mum began to stir the blocks around but the water soon went black from all the dirt they had picked up since she bought them.

“At first I was like “ooh, this is pretty” then I went real quick from that to (sick emoji),” she captioned the post.

The clip posted to her TikTok account @dawno.saur quickly went viral with over 1million views and 38k likes.

People were stunned by the colour of the water but the warning comes just in time as we’re sure plenty of kids got building blocks for Christmas.

Parents were absolutely horrified by the clip and took to the comments to share their disdain, with many claiming they’d be cleaning their kids’ blocks a lot more often.
