A MUM has found a nifty way to get rid of stubborn crayon marks left on a cupboard by her kid.
The woman, called Claire, revealed that she used an 89p cleaner from B&M to get her sideboard back to sparkling clean.
In a post on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK, the mum-of-one from Somerset explained how she had been unable to remove the scribbles for several months – but had stumbled across an effective solution.
She shared a video of herself spraying the stained surface with a bottle of Elbow Grease All Purpose Degreaser from the popular bargain store.
Behind the camera, she could be heard saying: “So crayon here has been on this sideboard for a few months now.
“I tried literally everything I could think of to get it off and nothing worked.
“After seeing all these recommendations of Elbow Grease, which is 89p in B&M, I bought it today and I’ve come home and tried it.”
The clip showed Claire scrubbing the crayon with tissue soaked in the product – and the marks wipe easily away.
“Look at that. Honestly can’t believe it,” she added.
The mum-of-one captioned her video: “The power of Elbow Grease… 89p in B&M!”
