Now one mum has revealed her top tip for getting the pesky “urine smell” out of the bathroom – and we think those with boys will definitely appreciate it.

Posting on Facebook, Candace Reicker revealed she douses the toilet rim and surrounding floor, i.e. anything in the ‘splash zone’, in shaving foam.
The solution helps lift away any hard to shift urine splashes, making it a godsend for busy parents.
It can then be cleaned up with a wash cloth and warm water – just don’t forget your gloves.
She wrote: “Are you a #BoyMom? Well if so here’s ur tip! classic foam shaving cream removes the smell of urine from your bathroom flooring and trim around toilet!”

The post was shared back in November 2018 but has been circulating on social media again this weekend.
It has more than 286,000 shares, 27,000 likes and 625 comments.
Commenting on the post, mums said: “this really works” and “thank you for sharing. That’s a tough smell to get out.”
But another joked: “Didn’t work. Wanna know why? Cuz they peed on it again 5 minutes later.”
And some suggested tough love was the best way to keep the bathroom sparkling.
