A whopping 360g portion can be snapped up for just £3 using your More card.

The scrumptious treats previously hit shelves for £6.26, meaning shoppers are making a saving of over 50 per cent.

Eagle-eyed bargain hunters also spotted the product marked down to just £4 in Asda.

The news was revealed in a post in the NewfoodsUK Facebook group alongside a photo of the product.

One person wrote: “I have been looking everywhere for this, got one 2 years ago and loved it.”

Another simply commented: “I want this”.

Someone else wrote: “Run don’t walk.”

Meanwhile, all Toblerones can be bought for £6 in Tesco.

This comes as the price of a popular Quality Street chocolate has also been slashed to just 22p at Morrisons.

Zingy Orange Matchmakers are now scanning at the incredible price.

Morrisons usually sell the chocolate for £1.50, so this offers a saving of £1.28.

The deal does not appear to be available online so you may have to visit your nearest branch for a chance to secure the offer.

Morrisons has also dropped the cost of its 550g tub of Roses £5 to £3.50, giving shoppers a 30% discount.

How does the Morrisons More Card work?

The Morrisons More Card lets you earn points on purchases which can be used to get money off future shops.

Once you get to 5,000 points you can keep saving, or convert them into a voucher worth £5 to spend in-store or online.

You can’t earn loyalty points when buying certain products though, including tobacco, infant milk or formula and gift cards.

The full list of excluded products is on the Morrisons website.

The More Card also gives you access to personalised offers based on your shopping habits, including discounts on specific products or extra points on certain purchases.

You can get a physical More Card and scan it at the till or swipe a virtual card via the app when shopping in-store.

If you’re shopping online, you can link the More Card to your online shopping account and automatically get points on your purchases.

How to save money on chocolate

We all love a bit of chocolate from now and then, but you don’t have to break the bank buying your favourite bar.

Consumer reporter Sam Walker reveals how to cut costs…

Go own brand – if you’re not too fussed about flavour and just want to supplant your chocolate cravings, you’ll save by going for the supermarket’s own brand bars.

Shop around – if you’ve spotted your favourite variety at the supermarket, make sure you check if it’s cheaper elsewhere.

Websites like Trolley.co.uk let you compare prices on products across all the major chains to see if you’re getting the best deal.

Look out for yellow stickers – supermarket staff put yellow, and sometimes orange and red, stickers on to products to show they’ve been reduced.

They usually do this if the product is coming to the end of its best-before date or the packaging is slightly damaged.

Buy bigger bars – most of the time, but not always, chocolate is cheaper per 100g the larger the bar.

So if you’ve got the appetite, and you were going to buy a hefty amount of chocolate anyway, you might as well go bigger.
