The Fortnite x Godzilla collaboration, introduced by Epic Games, brings the iconic giant monster into the battle royale game. This collaboration allows players to transform into Godzilla and engage in combat with other players on the island. The transformation occurs when a portal randomly appears, and the first player to run through it becomes Godzilla, gaining abilities such as a roar, mighty stomp attack, and heat ray. Players who are not Godzilla can target Godzilla’s weak spots to deal extra damage and earn rewards.
In addition to the in-game transformation, the collaboration includes Godzilla-themed skins and accessories that players can unlock through the Hunters Battle Pass. Completing specific quests allows players to obtain the Godzilla Evolved Outfit and matching items like the Exo-Spine Back Bling and Mothra Glider.
