Michael Hutchence daughter Tiger Lily 'secretly ties the knot' before baby arrival

Tiger Lily Geldof reportedly tied the knot with Ben Archer, her boyfriend of two years, last Saturday (April 12), after she confirmed she was expecting the pair’s first child. The couple are said to have rented exclusive use of a restaurant on East London’s Columbia Road for the day of their 30-strong ceremony, consisting of close family and friends.

A source published in the Daily Mail claimed that the wedding had been “very chic” but “very low-key” and that Tiger Lily’s sisters Pixie and Fifi were there, along with her adoptive dad Bob Geldof. “The guest list was very rock ’n’ roll, with Tiger Lily’s godfather, Nick Cave, invited, too. Tiger Lily, 28, and Ben are so happy together and this ceremony was just for their closest friends and family. It was a beautiful day and, after the service, they all sat down to have a meal together,” they added. The bride, whose full name is Heavenly Hiraani Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof, had been adopted by Bob Geldof as a child following the tragic death of both parents – Michael died when she was just 16 months old while her mother died when she was four years old.

According to Woman’s Day magazine, Tiger Lily and Ben have been “inseparable”.

“His family adore her and she loves that they’re so normal compared to hers,’ a source told the publication last year.

“Things are getting very serious between them. Everyone’s expecting an engagement announcement any day now.”

In July, Tiger Lily made her feelings clear when she declared “I love you” on an affectionate birthday post Ben made for her on Instagram.

According to The Sun, the couple – who met in 2023 – were “keen to marry” ahead of the birth of their first child.

Express Online have contacted Tiger Lily’s representatives for comment.

Her INXS star father died by suicide and was found dead in a Sydney hotel room in 1997. His band was one of the top-selling musical acts of all time in his native Australia, with over 50 million records sold.

Tiger Lily was just over a year old at the time of the tragedy, leaving her with few memories of her famous father.

Meanwhile, her mum Paula Yates, famed for presenting The Big Breakfast and The Tube died just three years later of an accidental heroin overdose, leaving her an orphan.

Paula had been in a relationship with Live Aid founder and Boomtown Rats frontman Bob Geldof before her death, which led to him adopting her daughter by Michael.
