Fans couldn’t help but notice the striking similarity between Lilibet and her father.
Meghan Markle delighted fans with an adorable photo of Prince Harry and their daughter, Lilibet. The Duchess of Sussex shared the previously unseen snap in honour of International Women’s Day, March 8.
Meghan, 43, took to Instagram to sing the praises of the impactful women in her life — most notably her three-year-old.
Alongside the candid images, the Duchess wrote: “Happy International Women’s Day. Celebrating the strong women around us and the girls with dreams who will become women with vision. Also thanking those who uplift us every day.”
The Duchess — also parent to five-year-old Archie with Prince Harry — is known for keeping her kids’ lives private. However, this charming snapshot revealed that dad and daughter share a fetching resemblance, down to their ginger locks.
Other heartwarming pictures within Meghan’s post include a throwback of herself as a child with her mum Doria Ragland, as well as a more contemporary capture of them together. Another touching snap showed Meghan and Harry in a cosy embrace while enjoying a leisurely beach stroll during a family getaway.
Meghan’s touching tribute coincides with the buzz surrounding her latest Netflix series, which has seen eager viewers scrambling to gain insights into the Duchess’s domestic world with her Royal partner—and it seems they have been richly rewarded, reports the Mirror.
Meghan shared some never-before-seen family photos and intimate details about her life in the new series. The Duchess of Sussex revealed that her son Archie loves salt on his food, while daughter Lilibet has a clean-up song.
She also shared a throwback photo from Archie’s first birthday party in May 2020, where she can be seen creating a homemade balloon arch. The picture shows Meghan in a yellow dress next to Archie in a highchair, with the balloon arch in the background.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s mother Doria were also present at the celebration. Meghan’s beloved rescue dog, Guy, who sadly passed away earlier this year, features throughout the series.
In one sweet snapshot, Guy is seen curled up in a fluffy basket while Meghan smiles for the camera. Speaking about her pet, Meghan said: “Guy’s just always there, he’s my shadow. He’s been with me for a very, very, very long time.
“He’s been with me since I lived in Toronto. He was found in the woods in Kentucky and since moved with me to the UK, back to Canada, to California. So yeah, Guy has a lot of stories to tell.”
In episode five, Meghan discussed the art of flower arranging, revealing that she learnt how to do it at her baby shower in 2019. “When I was pregnant with my son Archie, my girlfriends threw a baby shower for me, and one of the things we did was learn flower arranging,” she said.
The Duchess has more news up her sleeve following the success of With Love, Meghan on Netflix. Taking to Instagram, Meghan announced with palpable excitement that fans can anticipate a second season.
After an initial delay due to the Los Angeles wildfires postponing the release on Tuesday, March 4, Netflix confirmed on Friday evening that filming for the new series is already complete!
That more of With Love, Meghan is on the way may catch some by surprise, especially after a handful of critics expressed less than favourable opinions earlier in the week.
The series, produced by Meghan, offers a fresh take on lifestyle programming, combining practical advice with open discussions with friends, both new and old. Meghan shares her personal tips and tricks, prioritising fun over perfection and showcasing how simple it can be to create beauty, even in unexpected places.
She and her guests get hands-on in the kitchen, the garden, and more, inviting viewers to join them.
