Look away Ruth! Christine Lampard gets 'hot and bothered' over Eamonn Holmes


Christine Lampard may have welcomed a baby girl last year with husband Frank Lampard, but that hasn’t stopped the TV presenter discussing her schoolgirl crush on Loose Women.

On today’s episode, the panel were chatting about the who they fancied growing up, and Christine didn’t hold back telling the audience about her first love.

For some people, their first crush was a big time actor, a sexy musician, a boyband member, or a soap star, but the 40-year-old held a candle for a certain TV presenter.

Slipping over her words, Christine revealed she had a big crush on none other that Ruth Langford’s husband.

She said: “Do you know who mine was? Eamonn Holmes.”

The unlikely crush surprised the ladies, with Nadia bursting into a fit of giggles.

Kaye Adams was quick to back up Christine’s first love, and revealed: “Eamonn Holmes is very handsome, but when he was a young gentlemen, my goodness he was very, very handsome.”

Christine then mentioned how Eamonn is “really funny” and “very handsome.”

Nadia quipped: “You know Ruth is a very jealous woman?”

That didn’t seem to faze Christine, as she continued to divulge more information about her first encounter with the star.

She said: “I was about 17 when I was a runner working at the BBC.”

Christine continued: “I ended up making Eamonn’s tea – I couldn’t believe it.”

“Oh I’m just getting hot and bothered talking about it.”

Happily married to Frank Lampard for four years, the couple recently welcomed baby Patricia last September. Christine wrote the pair were “so in love” with their new arrival.
