After teasing fans about her first ever solo music, Perrie Edwards has finally shared a snippet of her new song Forget About Us.

The 30-year-old singer has kept us all waiting, taking time for her family life after Little Mix announced their hiatus three years ago — with fans still waiting on the reunion.

Her teasy clip revealed 30 seconds of her catchy debut single, as she danced around in the sunshine in shorts and a backless top.

As she lip synced to the track, Perrie ditched her sunglasses, loosened her hair, and cheekily removed her denim shorts to reveal her tiny bikini bottoms.

Perrie twirled around on the grass in front of a swimming pool on a lavish getaway, showing off her toned figure and looking utterly radiant.

‘You didn’t think I was only going to give you 7 seconds did you?’ she captioned the video. ‘Forget About Us’ is coming soon. You can pre-save now 🩵’

‘So excited to finally share this with you all! 🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹,’ the mum-of-one added with fans heaping praise on her ahead of the single’s release.

Forget About Us has been labelled ‘song of the summer’ by excited listeners who declared Perrie has a chart-topper on her hands.

The lyrics included: ‘I don’t want you to ever forget about us, I know we were never perfect but I think about the life we never had.

‘Yeah we both found different loves, now were moving on but I never want you to forget about us.’

Bandmate Leigh-Anne Pinnock shared her support as she commented: ‘Omg I loveeeeee 😩😍 so excited for this! X’

The 32-year-old hitmaker has been busy with a baby, tying the knot, and released her own solo music — teasing a full album later in the year after two singles.

On her original announcement, Jade Thirlwall had left a loved-up comment with a flood of cute emojis.

The trio are still incredibly close, despite fears from fans, and last September Perrie was praised by songwriting friend Kamille for being an incredibly kind person.

Kamille told Metro.co.uk: ‘The other day, we were in the studio and [Perrie] bought me the biggest, biggest bunch of flowers you’ve ever seen. I had to carry these flowers down some steps and I couldn’t even carry them down, that’s how big they were!’

‘As a mother as well watching her go after her dreams, have a baby, and still keep going – she definitely inspired me,’ she added.

Since 2021, when Little Mix decided to go on an indefinite hiatus, Perrie has welcomed her son Axel into the world.

She and her partner, football favourite Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, had announced the pregnancy at the same time as Leigh-Anne’s baby news.
