Liam Gallagher and his fiancée Debbie Gwyther had been living in the countryside while their London home underwent renovations ahead of the 2025 Oasis reunion tour
Liam Gallagher may be a proud Mancunian, but he will be spending the foreseeable future as a Londoner after quitting his pad in the country to return to the city.
The 52-year-old musician is well known for being a member of iconic rock band Oasis alongside his brother, Noel Gallagher, 57.
The brothers famously fell out in 2009, marking the end of their band – but last year they thrilled fans by announcing that they would be hitting to road for a brand new tour after reuniting and burying the hatchet.
The tour is due to kick off in July – with the first concert set to take place at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff and rehearsals are expected to begin in the coming weeks.
Now reports have suggested Liam has quit his home in the cotswolds and relocated back to his north London home so as to be close to the rehearsals space.
He had been renting a huge, 11-bedroom mansion at a reported cost of £19,000 per month where he lived with his fiancée Debbie Gwyther, 40, for the past year. It is suggested that Liam has grown bored of the Cotswolds, comparing life there to being in “a goldfish bowl” with the couple living in the countryside while awaiting renovation work to be completed in their London home.

A source told the Daily Mail: “It’s a six hour round trip from Gloucestershire to London and he was looking at a huge upsurge in commitments there so it just felt sensible to move back. After all the hype the real preparations for the tour are finally happening and that means he needs to ‘be here now.’”
While fans will be counting down the days for Oasis’s hotly anticipated reunion tour, one notable duo seem less interested in the band getting back together after hailing Nirvana the best band of all time.
Liam’s sons Gene and Lennon Gallagher have given a joint interview to Icon magazine.
Lennon, 25, who counts Patsy Kensit as his mum, said: “Kurt Cobain was always number one. As a child I watched Nirvana’s videos religiously.”
Younger brother Gene, 23, who is the son of Nicole Appleton and Liam said: “It was Lennon who got me into harder music. As a kid I liked the Who and the Beatles, and he was the one who kept me up to date with what was happening on the music scene.”
The pair both pose in a variety of designer suits and coats for the magazine fashion shoot. And Gene spoke of going on tour with his band Villanelle and trying to make it big. He was a support act last year for Liam’s Definitely Maybe solo tour.
On being related to frontman Liam, Gene admitted: “The pressure is there, but it’s a good pressure. It’s exciting and motivating.”
