Kate Hudson snuggles her baby girl as celebrities honor International Women's Day on social media


The world’s biggest celebrities have taken to social media to honor International Women’s Day.

Kate Hudson led the charge on Friday, posing with her adorable five-month-old daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fujikawa, in a video captioned ‘Happy happy #INTERNATIONALWOMENSDAY [LOVE HEART EMOJIS]’.

Also celebrating the significant day were celebrities like Kris Jenner, Reese Witherspoon and Hillary Clinton

In her video, 39-year-old Hudson sat with the daughter she shares with musician Danny Fujikawa in her lap.

As both girls look up at the camera, the Almost Famous star wonders, ‘What are we gonna say, Rani?’

‘Today is International Women’s Day,’ she continues. ‘And we say Happy International Women’s Day to all the women out there.’

‘We celebrate you, all that you do and all that you are, we love you.’

World famous ‘momager’ Kris Jenner also rang in the special day with a social media post.

Taking to Instagram, the 63-year-old posted a photo with all her daughters (clad only in white shirts and underwear) which she captioned ‘My Tribe’. 

Along with Kris, the photo featured Kylie Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Kourtney Kardashian.

Reese Witherspoon, meanwhile, used her significant social media following to promote her own clothing line – as well as donating a percentage of profits to a women’s charity.

The Big Little Lies star promised that 25% of sales from Draper James’ ‘Sisterhood’ collection would go toward the Girls Inc. charity.

The accompanying photo showed Reese posing in a Sisterhood T-shirt alongside several models.

After talking about how many men own fashion labels which produce clothes ‘we’re shamed into buying’ the 33-year-old joked ‘we’re just being attacked by d**ks’ before using her microphone to mime being assailed by a phallus.

The former English teacher captioned the post, ‘Happy International Women’s Day.’

‘On International Women’s Day, let’s promise to come together and support one another in honor of all the groundbreaking women who came before us—and those who are proudly following our lead.’
