Justin Bieber has been slowly returning to the spotlight after some time away but fans are concerned after his cryptic post about ‘growing up’.
The Baby hitmaker, 30, has been famous since he was a teenager but is now married to model Hailey Bieber, 28, and they share six-month-old son Jack.
Fans have been keeping an eye on Justin after news about Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs broke, given the rapper had been a mentor to him.
He has been sporting a more dishevelled look in public, leaving spas in his dressing gown as well as with an incredibly red and splotchy face.
In a surprising post on Instagram, Justin declared it’s ‘time to grow up’ before launching into a message about love and faith.
‘Changing is about letting go!,’ he said in an Instagram Story on Thursday.
‘Not trying harder! Are you tired of trying to follow all of the rules in hopes to get the results you crave?’
Justin added he had ‘found love to be more powerful than rules’, although did not detail what kind of love he was referring to.
He continued: ‘I tried to follow the rules. I’m not good at it. But u don’t need to follow rules to enter into a life of love. U just receive so enter love living!
‘God always grants us love! It’s one of his promises! Upon receiving God’s love! U start to change and start following love.’
Justin also sparked confusion by seeming to unfollow his wife Hailey on Instagram — with the singer later claiming the issue was caused by a hacker infiltrating his account.
In a short message on his page – that is no longer visible – the superstar fumed: ‘Someone just went on my account and unfollowed my wife.
‘S**t is getting suss out here.’
He was also pictured leaving a spa in Los Angeles without his shirt on, with the Love Yourself singer facing the chilly weather on the streets of New York in a pale blue bathrobe and a matching hat.
He seemed to be wearing just a green robe underneath and appeared to wear brown Ugg boots to complete the look.
Despite concern over the erratic behaviour, an insider recently insisted the pop star is ‘happier than he has been in a long time’.
A source told UsWeekly: ‘Justin is a happy camper right now, he’s happier than he’s been in a long time …
‘There’s no breakdown, and he just really doesn’t care what people think. He knows he looks strange leaving spas shirtless, but it’s just him.
‘And after the rumours, he’s doing it out of spite now, he’s just being himself and won’t create a squeaky clean image just because the public wants him to.’
