Jennifer Lopez poses with handsome man at a lavish beach restaurant as she brushes off criticism following controversial Dubai concert

Jennifer Lopez looked in good spirits as she posed with a handsome man while enjoying lunch at luxury beach club, Sirene by GAIA in Dubai on Wednesday.

The singer, 55, looked incredible for the outing in a green floaty layered maxi dress which she teamed with a chunky pearl necklace.

Styling her long tresses in a sleek up do, J-Lo toted her belongings around in a white Birkin handbag and accessorised with a large pair of sunglasses.

Meanwhile her handsome pal looked dapper in a cream blazer which he teamed with an open collar white shirt and matching trousers.

The Maid in Manhattan actress seemed to brush off recent criticism as she dined at the swanky Mediterranean restaurant, which recently opened under the leadership of Director Christian Wild.

Jennifer was recently slammed for performing at a hotel launch party, despite the United Arab Emirates’ strict laws against homosexuality.

The On The Floor songstress, who has long been an ally to the LGBTQ+ community, is believed to have been paid $5million (£3.9million) to appear as the guest of honour at the launch of the One&Only One Za’abeel hotel.

The luxury hotel is located in the United Arab Emirates, where LGBTQ+ people face several legal challenges.

Homosexuality is illegal under Sharia law in the United Arab Emirates. In Dubai, under Article 177 of the Penal Code of Dubai, those taking part in consensual sodomy (anal sex) can face up to 10 years behind bars.

According to The Sun, J-Lo pocketed the massive fee after earlier saying she would not be taking to the stage at the star-studded bash.

For the performance, the Shotgun Wedding star showed off her jaw-dropping figure in a sparkling purple jumpsuit.

Jennifer has one more scheduled show in the Middle East as she prepares to headline Saadiyat Nights, the open-air concert series in Abu Dhabi.

It comes as Jennifer enjoyed her first Valentine’s Day as a single woman in four years after finalising her divorce from husband of two years Ben Affleck.

The Unstoppable actress posted a note to her Instagram Stories on Friday where she was in a hot pink dress and matching fuzzy coat.

And over the image she make a joke about being single: ‘My Vday playlist: (Self-Love Don’t Cost A Thing).’

Self-Love Don’t Cost A Thing is a play on her 2001 hit song Love Don’t Cost A Thing.

Affleck is also having his first Valentine’s Day alone in several years after divorcing Lopez at the end of 2024.

Since 2021, Ben and Jennifer have been a hot item, but they separated in April last year, she filed for divorce in August and then they finalized the end of their marriage in late December.

The former couple wed without a prenuptial agreement – with their cumulative wealth sitting at $550million, with Lopez’s assets accounting for $400million of their wealth treasure chest.

The actor-director and singer-actress eloped at the Little White Chapel in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022 – 18 years after breaking off their first engagement in 2004.

The couple again exchanged vows at Affleck’s estate outside of Savannah, Georgia on August 20 that year.

J-Lo filed the divorce documents on the two-year anniversary of their Georgia nuptials, but listed their separation date as April 26, 2024.

They had first rekindled their romance in early 2021, just weeks after J-Lo broke off her engagement to Alex Rodriguez.

TMZ, who were first to report on the settlement, reports Affleck will hold onto his stake in his production company, Artists Equity, which he founded in 2022 with BFF Matt Damon.

The company has produced Air, The Accountant Part 2 and Unstoppable.

Jennifer worked on projects including Shotgun Wedding, This Is Me… Now and The Mother during their marriage.

The settlement, which was mediated by celeb disso queen Laura Wasser, also reveals Jennifer is dropping Affleck as a last name and going back to Jennifer Lynn Lopez.
