Sabrina Carpenter and Jenna Ortega shared a rather passionate snog in the Taste video that’s been praised as the ‘music video of the year.’
Sabrina, 25, released her new album Short ‘n’ Sweet on August 23 which was accompanied by a music video for her new single, Taste.
In the music video, Jenna, 21, was cast as Sabrina’s love rival who had stolen her ex-boyfriend from her.
In a hilarious narrative the two then sought out to kill each other through a series of murder attempts that referenced Death Becomes Her, Psycho, Kill Bill, Ginger Snaps, and Scream among other horror films.
But there was one major moment that stood out to fans – when the pair locked lips in a brief moment.
Fans could not control their excitement at seeing the A-listers make out and took to social media to express their utter delight.

Fans adored the music video and suggested that this is not only the singer’s best-ever video, but could even be in the running to snag the title of ‘best music video of the year’.

It is fantastically camp and features killer outfits and hilarious moments as the video ends with Jenna and Sabrina becoming friends and mocking the man they had both been fighting over.
Appearing on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon on August 23, the star said of the video: ‘It was inspired by one of my favourite films and she was a huge fan of the film.
‘And also just like, I’m so excited for you guys to see this video. You have no idea. I think it’s my favourite one I’ve ever done!’
