Coronation Street star Lucy Fallon has seemingly confirmed her co-star’s exit from the ITV soap as she shared a sweet snap of the pair on social media.
Coronation Street‘s Lucy Fallon, known for her role as Bethany Platt, has seemingly confirmed the departure of her co-star from the iconic cobbles during her maternity leave.
The actress is currently on a break from the ITV soap after welcoming her second child. In early January, Lucy announced that she and her footballer partner Ryan Ledson had become parents again.
Their new arrival followed the birth of their son, Sonny, in 2023. The couple revealed their daughter, named Nancy, was born safe and sound on January 11, sharing an adorable first photo of the newborn.
“Our teeny angel girl is here [star emojis] 11/1/25,” Lucy confirmed in the post. Recently, Lucy reunited with one of her Corrie co-stars, Charlotte Jordan, who is set to leave the soap after nearly five years playing Daisy Midgeley.
Charlotte confirmed her exit news in January reports the Manchester Evening News, stating: “My time at Coronation Street is something I’ll always cherish.”
She added: “After a brilliant four years for Daisy, it’s time for me to start a new chapter and explore other opportunities. It’s been a privilege to be part of a wonderful institution with even more wonderful colleagues who have taught me so much.”
On Wednesday evening, Lucy took to Instagram to share a heartwarming black and white photo of herself and Charlotte. The pair were captured in a warm hug, beaming at the camera.
Lucy captioned the post: “a love letter 2 @charliejordanxo,” which sparked a flurry of comments from fans. Some speculated that the post might be a hint at Charlotte’s departure from Coronation Street.
One person gushed: “The best duo always.” Someone else chimed in: “You both are so gorgeous.” A third also wondered: “It’s giving charlottes leaving party.”
Another fan lamented: “We’re never going to get a Bethany Daisy scene again.” Other fans simply expressed their admiration for the duo, with one fan saying: “Love you two.”
