So one teacher has been praised after sharing her clever hack which makes learning the grip a whole lot easier – and all you need is a sticker.
“This is the best way I’ve found to teach all my kids how to properly hold a pencil,” Clarissa Crandall began her TikTok video.
“I just buy a pack of star stickers off of Amazon and stick it where the kids are gonna hold it.
“I then tell them to find their star – they put their thumb on the star.
“And what we do is that I teach them to pinch it like this, where the point is pointing towards them, and then flip – and now they have their proper pencil grip.”
The clever trick is just one of the hacks Clarissa uses to “save her sanity”, and parents were more than grateful in the comments section.
