I’m a 30-year-old mum-of-one but still live with my mum, people say it’s embarrassing but I’ll live with her forever

A 30-YEAR-OLD woman has defended her choice to live at her mum’s house with her daughter after cruel trolls said she should be embarrassed.

Opening up about her living arrangements, TikTok user and mum-of-one Maggie, whose baby daughter is called Savvy, said not only did she not care about their taunts, but that she planned to stay there forever.

Posting a short video to her account, @maggieandsavvy, Maggie hinted to her 10,000 followers what she often hears when people discover her situation.

Over the top of a video of her holding Savvy in her arms, she wrote: “Are you embarrassed that you live at your parents with a baby at 30”

Hitting back, the American social media user then shared a video of her and her daughter dancing and typed: “My mom’s house… and all the love my daughter gets here.”

She then followed up her sentiments in the caption as she posted: “I turn 31 in 2 weeks and I told my mom that we’re going to live with her the rest of her life.”

She also added that on top of enjoying spending time at her mum’s there’s a further poignant reason that she refuses to move out.

Maggie explained alongside a crying emoji: “Especially since we just lost my dad.”

Proving her point, insensitive trolls still flocked to the comment section to have their say.

One wrote: “Just sad. You’re too old.” They added: “RIDICULOUS and embarrassing.”

Fortunately, others were much more sympathetic to Maggie and Savvy’s situation and praised her, saying they’d do exactly the same.

While a third commented: “I would gladly let my daughter, her husband and two kids move in with me. Nothing wrong with it.”
