'I took wife to the doctors and returned to find nasty surprise on my car'

When you go to an appointment, you expect it to go rather smoothly.

You go there, you go home and hopefully all will be well. But that wasn’t the case for one man who took his wife to a doctor’s appointment, as the task spiralled out of control.

The anonymous man opened up about the matter on X, formerly known as Twitter, where he shared a picture of the nasty surprise he found that was left on his car. Going to the doctor can be stressful enough, without any added pressures.

In the snap, a very aggressive note was pictured, and it’s fair to say it left the driver in shock. He couldn’t believe what he was seeing.

The note read: “You parked like a smooth-brained stupid sack of s***. You know you did, so why didn’t you fix the abysmal parking job or find a new spot? Was it stupidity, selfishness or both? Seek help.”

The note has since been shared on various social media sites, and it’s got a lot of people talking. They had all sorts of theories as to what may have happened.

One person wrote: “I wonder if it was on someone else’s car and they moved it over to yours.” Another said: “I mean in the bad parking Olympics, you barely qualified. You certainly didn’t place in the top three. I think you should just dispose of your ‘award’. Someone was having a bad day!”

A third also replied: “It always impresses me how mad someone has to be to actually go through with something like this. This dude had to find paper and a pen, write a paragraph, maybe give it a once over to re-stoke their anger and then slap it on your car. That’s a long time to be seething over something so benign.”

People raised some pretty good points as, when you see the picture of the car, it doesn’t actually seem to be that bad. When it comes to parking problems, most drivers have probably seen a lot worse.

One person quipped: “Maybe they wrote a bunch of these notes ahead of time and keep a stack in their car for any occasion.” Another added: “Is it normal to casually have graph paper on you?”

Others were quick to share some of their own parking nightmare stories. It appears there are some really angry people on the roads.

A user wrote: “Once I took my dad to a doctor’s appointment. The parking lot was full except for one open space. The other cars were parked over the lines, so of course I also had to park over the lines by default.

“When we came out, the cars on either side of me were gone and there was a note on my windshield: ‘YOU ARE A PARKING LOT HOG! LEARN HOW TO PARK!'”
