A MUM-OF-TWO has left jaws on the floor after revealing that she fell pregnant three months after giving birth.
Emily Wratting’s sons – who are Irish twins – were born so close together that they’re in the same school year.
Irish twins are two children who were born 12 months or less apart.
The term originated in the 1800s in reference to Irish Catholic families who would often have children very close in age.
Now a less common phenomenon, 32-year-old Emily shocked people when she revealed that she had her little boys nine and a half months apart.
Her youngest was born premature at 33 weeks, meaning he is in the same school year as his big brother.
Emily, who is a content creator and student nurse, is raising her sons with her fiance and shares insights into their life on social media.
One of her TikTok posts has totted up a whopping 20 million views so far, with thousands of women questioning how she juggles having two children so close together.
“They are best friends and the best thing that ever happened to me,” Emily penned.
But trolls were quick to suggest that she didn’t give her body “time to heal” and weigh in with their opinions on Irish twins.
“Honestly, how does this even happen?” one asked. “If I just birthed a child there is no way he’s getting any for at least three months.
“My husband respected me enough to know I needed to heal, regardless of whatever mood either of us were in.”
Emily was quick to defend her fiance, saying that he “is one of life’s rare diamonds” and supported her fully throughout both pregnancies.
She also joked that it “blew their families’ minds” when she told them she was pregnant for a second time.
“I still to this day don’t think my other half is over the shock of me telling him I’m pregnant,” Emily wrote.
“Or our families for that matter.”
Similarly, one mum shared with Fabulous how she fell pregnant just eight weeks after giving birth.
At 21-years-old, Saffron Bramwell became a proud mum to Irish twins.
