I curled my hair and did my make-up while in labour – I needed to look my best for the birth

GOING into labour, most mums’ first thought isn’t about doing their hair.

But for one mum, the first thing she did before going into hospital was to make sure her hair looked perfect.

Before heading to the hospital the mum decided to give her hair a little body while in labour

While her contractions were just five minutes apart, mum from the TikTok channel, The Nguyens, decided to curl her hair to make sure she looks flawless to welcome her baby daughter into the world.

Her husband said: “About to give birth, you’ve got to make sure your hair’s still on point though.”

The mum begins chuckling at her husband as she looks in the mirror continuing to curl her locks.

Once she had finished, the couple made it to the hospital, the next clip shows her waiting in her hospital room waiting to receive an epidural.

Her husband cheekily asked her: “Do you think if you hadn’t curled your hair, you would’ve had the epidural by now?”

She wrote: “After getting to the hospital, he was brave enough to ask me this.”

And the saga continues.

When she had received the epidural, she decided to start on her makeup.

She can be seen sitting on her hospital bed, chuckling and applying her foundation with a beauty blender.

“And once you get that epidural and you’re feeling real nice, go ahead and apply your foundation,” her husband jokes.

She then moves onto face powder, and her husband quips: “The nurse is going to come in and think I switched you out for someone else.”

Many commented on how good mum looed, while others were in hysterics by her husband’s commentary.

One wrote: “And your hair and makeup look fantastic!! Good job momma.. Congratulations from one girl momma to another.”
