A WOMAN has revealed that she cleared the shelves in Asda when she spotted nappies going cheap.
But mean trolls have slammed her for taking the lot, calling her ‘greedy’ and ‘selfish’.
However, the mother was keen to clap back at the jealous haters and claimed that if she saw such a deal again, she would do the same thing.
Posting on Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, a private Facebook group with 2.5 million members, Michelle Peacock shared a snap of the back seats of her car, full up with boxes of slashed jumbo packs of nappies.
Alongside the post, the mum penned: “Finally got a bargain! £3.50 a box.
“Asda Peterlee… but they have none left.”

Michelle was lucky enough to nab seven jumbo packs of the Pampers nappies.
She was clearly thrilled with her haul, as she later beamed: “Pure bargain for me.
“Means next week I don’t have to go pay the same price I paid for seven boxes for two!”
Michelle’s post has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 260 likes and 226 comments.
But social media users were totally divided by Michelle’s actions – whilst some claimed that they too would have done the same, not everyone was as on board with clearing the shelves.
One person said: “Glad you got them all, nothing better than a bargain when you’ve got kids! I’d have done the exact same.”
Another added: “So glad you took them all! I would do the exact same! All trying to save so if you get there first so be it!”
A third commented: “I would have done the same! My son goes through nappies like no tomorrow and can only have Pampers.
If you’re not fast, you’re last

“We are all struggling so why not. Pretty sure the next person wouldn’t have thought about other people.”
At the same time, another user chimed in: “If you’re not fast, you’re last – Well done.”
How To Save Cash On Nappies

BUYING nappies and other baby items can be an expensive task, but parents are just realising there’s a trick that could save them cash.
If you’ve got a newborn or multiple little ones to look after, you can really see your outgoings go up.
One money saving mum was shocked to discover that she could have been saving money on nappies for years.
She posted her find on Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.
The mum wrote: “If you haven’t already and you have little ones still in nappies, then get the “Pampers Club App” downloaded.
“You can earn discount coupons and remember to use the code to redeem a £6 off coupon straight away.”
She wasn’t alone in discovering the deal, as the post racked up more than 30 comments from equally as surprised parents who were keen to share in the bargain.
One social media user wrote: “Wish I’d known about this when my boy was born.”
Another tagged their friend and said: “Have you looked into this?!”
A third added: “Ohhh yes gonna give it a go!”
Essentially, each pack of Pampers nappies you buy has a code on the inside of the box, if you scan that code on the Pampers Club app you get a stamp.
The app can be downloaded from the Apple App Store or from the Google Play store on Android.
You get one point per nappy in a pack so the larger the packs, the more points you’ll receive.
For example, if you scan a code inside a pack of 86 nappies, you’ll receive 86 points.
You can then redeem your points for coupons to redeem at retailers such as Tesco, Asda, Boots, Morrisons or Sainsbury’s.
Plus, Pampers is currently offering £6 off Pampers nappies in Asda, Tesco, Morrisons, Sainsbury’s, Coop, or Boots.
However, not everyone was as kind, as one user wrote: “Why are folk so greedy and clear the shelves leaving nothing for anyone else.
“It’s not a bargain if it’s greed. It’s selfish.”
Slate me all you like, if I see it again I’ll take the lot again! It helps me out!

A second chimed in: “Nothing left…yeah because you cleared them out…”
Whilst another user questioned: “Why do people do that? Why can’t you leave some for other people?”
But Michelle later clapped back at the haters and shared: “Omg people I have two children in nappies!
“Slate me all you like, if I see it again I’ll take the lot again! It helps me out!”
