A GRAN has wowed parents online by revealing how she managed to turn £1 Disney tote bags from the Poundshop into cute Christmas stockings.
Taking to the Extreme Couponing and Bargains group on Facebook, she showed off the Cinderella, Ariel, Tinker Bell and Rapunzel styles which cost her a pound each.
“Made these for my grandkids. Tote bags from Poundshop,” she wrote.
She shared an image of the four different styles, which had also been decorated with festive sequins.
Other parents were so impressed, some mums were even asking if they could purchase one of the princess stockings.
One wrote: “You clever thing! They’re amazing! Can you make one for me?”
Another commented: “Love these you clever woman, a great upcycle idea.”
While another said: “So good. I’d love one of these for my little girl if anyone else is feeling crafty?”
And stockings aren’t the only accessory mums have been making out of the bags.
In September, we told you how one woman created a teepee play room as well as cushions and wall canvases out of the versatile accessories.
In other news, we told you how one mum claims making a ‘Christmas morning box’ is the key to a row-free day and others say she’s a genius.
We also revealed one mum creates a snowy Elf On The Shelf scene for her kids, but is horrified when the cat mistakes it for a litter tray.
And we showed you one dad captures his daughter’s adorable reaction to being given a banana for Christmas.
