Furious breastfeeding mum is SUING her nanny for sneaking formula to her baby in the night – because she was ‘tired’

A FURIOUS mother has revealed she’s suing her nanny for £7,500 after she secretly fed her baby formula in the night.

American mum Lynn Wojton, 37, had chosen to breastfeed her six-month-old daughter Wilder because she believed it was the healthier option.

However, the mum-of-one – who runs a cosmetic nursing practice in New York City – claims her nanny secretly gave her then newborn baby formula while she slept.

According to Manhattan Supreme court documents, nanny Marcia Chase-Mitchell slept in the same room as both the mother and daughter but would only wake up Lynn if the baby needed feeding.

But despite Lynn breastfeeding Wilder for the first two days after she was brought home from the hospital, the nanny allegedly did not wake Lynn up that third evening because she was too “tired”.

However, the nanny – who gets paid £3,200 for her services – was reportedly so overcome with guilt that she admitted to giving Wilder formula the next day.

The devastated mum told The New York Post: “I was very upset. This is not what I wanted – this is not what I want – for my baby.

“I cried for like an hour, honestly.”

However, Marica originally tried to justify her decision by insisting that formula was better for the baby before admitting that she’d actually just wanted extra sleep.

Unsurprisingly, Lynn fired the nanny after the interaction and claims it “was the last straw”.

The mum added: “If I didn’t change the diaper the way she thought was best, she would criticise me the whole time.

“It makes you second-guess yourself. You’re a new mother and this is all very new.”

Six months after the incident, Lynn is still seeking at least £7,500 in damages but has found a new nanny for her daughter.

She added: “I’m in a good place now but I still get upset.”

In more bonkers parenting news, this mum has been told by her son’s teacher to STOP putting homemade biscuits in his lunchbox – unless “she makes them for every child in the class”.

And this mum has revealed she” wailed with disappointment” after spotting a penis on her 20-week scan.

Plus this dad has sparked outrage after admitting that his “biggest life regret” is having his son – and his wife AGREES.
