KT Tunstall, 49, has been handpicked to curate the music for the new stage show based on the iconic 1995 comedy film.

She has been paired up with Grammy Award winner Glenn Slater who has written the lyrics to accompany the music.

Glenn has extensive experience in musical theatre having written for both The Little Mermaid and Sister Act.

Teasing what attendees of the play could expect from the music, a synopsis read: “Together they bring a modern, musical vibe to the score blending the spirit of the 90s with a fresh contemporary sound.”

Clueless will be arriving on the West End stage in February and is currently scheduled to run until June of this year.

Actors Emma Flynn and Keelan McAuley will lead the extensive cast in the iconic roles of Cher and Josh.

A synopsis for the musical reads: “Cher Horowitz is the most popular student at Beverly Hills High, renowned for her unique talent at finding love for others.
