Drake rips 5′ 5″ Kendrick Lamar as a ‘small fish’ like ‘Nemo’ on new diss track just days after Super Bowl halftime show


EVERYBODY knew that Drake was never going to let Kendrick Lamar taking swipes at him at the Super Bowl, without having a comeback.

Now the rapper, 38, has ripped into 5′ 5″ Kendrick – calling him a “small fish” like “Nemo” on his new diss track.

On Sunday, Kendrick, 37, laid into Drake in his halftime Super Bowl show.

The U.S. Sun counted FIVE times he dissed his nemesis, which even included bringing his ex-girlfriend Serena Williams onto the stage.

Not one to let Kendrick get away with this, Drake dropped his new album $ome $exy $ongs 4 U and he doesn’t hold back when it comes to his rival.

DRAKE’S NEW DISS TRACK

In his new track Gimme a Hug on the album, he alludes to his feud with Kendrick.

In the opening verse he raps: “Drake elimination, fake intimidation / Take a minute, take a deep breath, have a little bit of patience / ‘Drizzy, you amazing, you the inspiration / You set the bar for the next generation / You Neo in The Matrix, these ****** just Nemo in the ocean / Small fish, making kids feel emotion / Using you for promotion,’ truer words have never been spoken.

“****** want to see ‘RIP me’ on a t-shirt like I’m Hulk Hogan / I appreciate the fans rocking with me, this is really just a small token / Really fucking with a visionary / Only reason I ain’t got a girl and I ain’t getting marriеd / ‘Cause I’m really out herе, filling up the itinerary ’til I’m six feet in a cemetery.

“Bulletproof doors so heavy, got me rolling ’round like a dignitary / Funny how it’s only b***h ****** that are waiting on The Boy’s obituary / ‘Cause if I die, it’s these ****** that become the sole beneficiary / And what the fuck are they gon’ do with it? / Have the girls up at 29 on stage twerking with a dictionary?”

The lyrics see Drake poke fun at Kendrick’s height and are also aimed at his reputation for wordy rhymes.

THE FALL OUT

Although some fans believe Drake and Kendrick were secretly feuding for years, their beef escalated with the latter’s featured verse on Future and Metro Boomin’s song Like That.

On the above mentioned track, Kendrick referenced Drake’s single First Person Shooter and rapped: “Yeah, get up with me, f**k sneak dissing…

“…First Person Shooter, I hope they came with three switches.

“Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD…Motherf**k the Big three…n***a, it’s just big me.”

Kendrick also alluded to Drake’s album For All the Dogs and added: “For all your dogs gettin’ buried, that’s a K with all these nines, he gon’ see Pet Sematary.”

Kendrick’s verse responded to Drake and J. Cole’s previous namedrop in their joint single First Person Shooter, which the latter rapped: “Love when they argue the hardest emcee…

On March 25, 2024, Drake referenced his and Kendrick’s fallout during his concert in Sunrise, Florida.

During his performance, the Certified Lover Boy rapper told the crowd: “A lot of people ask me how I’m feeling.

“I’ma let you know how I’m feeling. I got my f**king head up high, my back straight…

“…I’m 10 f–king toes down in Florida and anywhere else I go.

“And I know that no matter what, it’s not a n***a on this Earth that could ever f**k with me in my life!”

Fuel was added to the fire when Kendrick released Not Like Us, which accuses Drake of being a pedophile – something which the rapper strongly denies.

DRAKE & KENDRICK FEUD TIMELINE

On October 6, 2023, Drake and J. Cole released First Person Shooter, in which J. Cole claimed that himself, Drake, and Kendrick are the “big three” of hip-hop.

On March 22, 2024, Kendrick responded to the claim of a “big three” in his verse on Metro Boomin and Future’s song Like That, where he instead stated, “It’s just big me,” and accused both rappers of sneak dissing.

On April 5, 2024, J. Cole dropped his Kendrick diss track, 7 Minute Drill, in which he fired “warning shots” at the rapper as he accused the good kid, m.A.A.d city artist of seeking “attention” and slammed his latest music releases as “tragic.”

But on April 7, 2024, two days after releasing the Kendrick diss, J. Cole retracted his statement and backed out of the feud, as he stated he felt pressured to respond because “the world wanna see blood.”

On April 13, 2024, Drake responded to Kendrick with Push Ups, which had lyrics ridiculing Kendrick’s height and his mainstream collaborations with Taylor Swift and Maroon 5.

The track also dissed rappers Future and Rick Ross and producer Metro Boomin.

On April 19, 2024, Drake dropped another diss track, Taylor Made Freestyle, that used AI-generated voices of Snoop Dogg and the late Tupac Shakur to pressure Kendrick to respond.

On April 30, 2024, Kendrick dropped Euphoria, a six-minute diss track, in which he criticized Drake’s biracial identity, questioned the rapper’s ability as a father, and claimed that Drake is a “scam artist.”

On May 1, 2024, Drake responded to Kendrick’s diss by posting a clip from the 1999 film 10 Things I Hate About You on his Instagram Story in which Julia Stiles’ character Kat lists the reasons she hates Heath Ledger’s character Patrick – mirroring a Euphoria bar where Lamar provides reasons he hates Drake.

On May 3, 2024, Kendrick dropped a second Drake diss track, 6:16 in LA in which Kendrick alleges Drake’s own team is working against him as he rapped, “Everyone inside your team is whispering that you deserve it,” and stated Drake “can’t Toosie Slide up out of this one.”

After Drake responded with his diss track Family Matters, where he called accused Kendrick of infidelity, the Humble hitmaker would release Meet the Grahams, his fourth diss track against the Canadian rapper.
