Drake has announced he will headline all three days of Wireless Festival later this year.
It’s his first major career announcement following Kendrick Lamar’s takedown of the Canadian at the Super Bowl halftime show.
The performance was a continuation of the long-running feud between Kendrick and Drake, and many considered it a victory lap following his knock-out blow of the hit song Not Like Us.
The song, which is essentially a Grammy-winning diss track against Drake,is also now the subject of a potential libel case brought by Drake.
The rapper sued Universal Music Group (UMG) for defamation and harassment over its release of Not Like Us.
Drake’s lawyers accused the record label of creating a hit that contained a ‘false factual allegation that Drake is a criminal paedophile, and to suggest that the public should resort to vigilante justice in response.’

Now, its been announced Drake will take to the stage at London’s Finsbury Park for his first full UK performances in six years at the Wireless Festival – and one can only speculate the swipes he’ll take at Kendrick during his sets.
The huge North London Festival will take place on Friday July 11, Saturday July 12, and Sunday July 13, with Drake headlining the main stage each night.
Not Like Us lyrics referencing Drake
Say, Drake, I hear you like ’em young
You better not ever go to cell block one
To any b***h that talk to him and they in love
Just make sure you hide your lil’ sister from him
They tell me Chubbs the only one that get your hand-me-downs
And Party at the party playin’ with his nose now
And Baka got a weird case, why is he around?
Certified Lover Boy? Certified paedophiles
Last year’s festival was headlined by Nicki Minaj, 21 Savage, J Hus and Doja Cat.
A source told The Sun: ‘It’s been months in the making and initially no one thought they could pull it off, but Drake is all signed on to headline all three days of Wireless.
‘Bosses are naturally overjoyed and expect tickets to sell out in record time.
‘Exact set lists are still to be worked out but one idea that has been passed about is that Drake will perform some of his albums in full for the first time.’
Drake last toured the UK in 2019 as part of his Assassination Vacation Tour, playing seven nights at London’s O2 Arena.
Drake has also played at Wireless Festival before, making a surprise appearance during Future’s set in 2021.
